There has been to much stress this weekend. First we find out my brothers dog had to be put down, which really affected me. He was such a good dog. He had a great personality and he loved my brother like no other. But it was his time to go. I had to call in to work because I was so sad about it.
Then last night, we had my parents over for dinner after Caleb and my dad finished removing some stumps. Well later that night Caleb and I were in the den watching a movie and he thought we heard knocking but thought it was maybe the ice maker. Then there was more knocking. We rushed to the door and a neighbor said there was a fire next door and to get out of the house. We rushed out to see how bad it was...Not good at all. I rush to the back yard to get a hose, even though it wouldn't do a thing. And when I come back, I didn't see Caleb anywhere. I freaked out and started screaming his name. I guess he heard me and came rushing to me. I was so scared. The fire department came and did their job. But I was weezing and coughing and I get taken to the ER. That was a waist of time. It was so packed and after 4 hours of waiting I was still 7 down on the list. I decided to just go home. Went to bed and feel fine. Just drained. I feel so bad for our neighbor. He had a lot of stuff in his garage and no insurance on anything. Things like this can happen so quickly and if it wasn't for my dad cutting down the bushes between our houses to work on the fence he is building, I'm sure our house would have caught fire as well. But luckily Caleb was off last night. This was amazing in it self because Caleb never has Sundays off. If he hadn't I would have freaked out.
Bad things happen, But God is still good and amazing and knows what is best for us, even if we can't see it ourselves.

How long has it been?
Well it has been a while, and I have been meaning to update this for some time. Not because a lot has been happening lately, but its good to do a post every now and again.
Today was a very nice day, minus the fact that I had to work, but oh well. But the weather was super nice, and Caleb surprised me today with some beautiful flowers and a awesome card. It was a very nice thing to come home to :)
So after I got home, Caleb decided to mow the lawn, and because the fence is not done yet and the next door neighbor is watching 3 huge German shepherds, they seem to like our yard much better. And guess what 3 big dogs like to leave in the yard...yea...there was sooo much poo. gross! so while I was picking up poo Caleb was doing something in the back yard and saw a snake. Now when he said "oh theres a snake" I figured he was joking and trying to see if I would react so I didn't even look up for like 10 seconds until he said "I think thats Tim's snake." (Tim is our next door neighbor) So I was like O.O hahaha. Caleb is scared of snakes. But he didn't freak out too bad until we were trying to put her in a box. Tim wasn't home yet, so to make sure she didn't escape again, we put her in a box. Well while trying to find a place to put the box she started to stick her head out of the box towards Caleb's hand. Hahahaha, it was so funny the face he made. Tim said that she had been missing for like a week. I'm kinda surprised that shes still alive. It has been really cold at night, and has been raining too. But shes safe at home now.
Not to much more has been happening. Although we are going on vacation in June to Tahoe and I can not wait! I am soo looking forward to a vacation.
But until next post, have a good day.

Scary
Well on the 23, I woke up with my left face, arm and leg numb. Decided to go to the emergency room. Turned out I had a stroke...Don't know how it happened. But it was scary. But I'm getting better every day. A couple days ago I was able to pull my hair back. I know I will make a full recovery. Its just going to take some time. I just ask that you pray for my recovery, and that the doctors will figure out what caused it so it will never happen again.
Well got to go.
Thanks

Just a little update
Well, it's almost been a year since we got married. It feels like longer and shorter than that at the same time. Its weird, but its been great. No major fights, no loss of love or any of that, its great. Not that I was expecting that or any thing, but the negativity of others always make you doubt yourself. But I am happy to say that we are sooo in love its not even funny :) We plan on going to Frisco for our one year anniversary and it is going to be awesome! We are going to stay at the Hotel Kabuki, which is in Japan Town. I love it there, and they have the best bath tubs. So relaxing because they are nice and deep. We plan on doing the things that Caleb has never experienced in San Francisco, like going to the pier and going to the tea garden and the zoo in Golden Gate Park. Its going to be so nice to get out of Modesto for a few days, forget about of jobs and responsabilities and just enjoy a great year of marriage. So hopefully we will be posting some new pictures of our trip once we get back.

Well Caleb has some Amazing news
Today he was offered at Premier Bakers Inc. the job to be hired on to the company as shipping and reeving clerk for distribution and no longer through the temp agency. WOO HOOOOO. Thank you God. We both are so happy we could pee. Not only does he get a dollar and hour raise, but starting May 1st he will have health benefits and will be eligible for paid vacation and retierment. How awesome is that. We plan to save, start looking for a house we can own and trying for little ones in time. That is what I am most excited about. We finally can start trying for babys and have health insurence to cover it. YAY! I am so happy for him. He has been waiting for this since he started working there almost a year ago. God knows what we need and who knows maybe he knows something we don't know yet....no duh.
Caleb also wants me to add if you live in Northern California, go to Jack in the Box because that is one of their biggist contracts right now.
Well I am going to go now and listen to mor of Calebs awesome Rock Band playings :)
Yay for us!

Well the new year is here
This holiday season has really nice. I got to see my nephew for the first time, and I got to see my brother and sister-in-law. This was Calebs and my first Christmas as a married couple. We decorated a Christmas tree and put lights on the out side of the house. We spent Christmas day with my parents and as for the new year, we had planned to go out to our bench and drink hot cocoa as midnight came, but we feel asleep and woke up at like 12:20 am to the sound of what I hope was fireworks...Opps. But its ok, Caleb had to be at work at 5:30 am. So he needed the sleep.
Anyhow, I have to go,but I will put up some pictures of everything a little later

So I just got some news this morning:
At 1000 hrs Mike Dattke at Premier bakers inc called me......
it looks like I GOT ORIENTATION ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!
HELL YES! I got my job back!! We start producing Sunday 11-9-08.
For who I don't know and for how many hours a week I don't know but hell, I GOTS A JOB! [yes I did just say "gots"]
I have been out of the job for now more than 4 weeks because the bakery had to give back there account to a sister bakery and we had nothing for ourselves.
Thus all of us minus the main 5 guys where SOL. I had left a crappy full time job at the hotel for the bakery and losing that awesome job REALLY tore me up. For the first time in my life I had fun, liked and really felt good about my work. Micheal's sucked thanks to crappy management, the hotel was run so badly that I could sit in my back office and do 4 peoples jobs with inventories and ordering to then get the shaft and yelled at for not doing my job completely. I really LOATHED that job. That job was under paid and over worked and didn't even get One cent of overtime, Ever.
Anyways the job market is, I think, in fact WORSE than working at the Hotel. No one outside of the United States Armed Services is hiring anyone.
but that is the past and this is the present, and presently i got a job again! the job i really really liked or damned near loved.
So other news.... my Massive mercury Cougar did not pass smog. It was a stupid Fail since The Merc was only 3 points above on HDC 15mph and 20 points above on HDC 25 mph.
That sucks but I'll get her tuned up and ready for the next run.
Ahhh Halloween was interesting. Erin and I had few kids trick-or-treating and both Pam/Steve and my mom/dad where traveling that night. But the interesting part was that we where eating dinner and heard the ice machine on the Fridge drop some ice. Then we heard more Ice sounds... Then the screaming. Erin got up first to see what was in teh garage screaming. Erin opened the door and started to shouting and crying at what she saw. A live rat stuck in a rat trap holding on for dear life above the washing machine. I saw the little thing a few seconds later as Erin was screaming "help it HELP IT!". the poor thing just wanted some peanut butter and got a scare of her life.
I released her from the trap QUICKLY and she flew in to the corner of the garage behind the washer. Trapped, she started to run and I grabbed her by the tail and took her inside the house.
we where going to put her in Piggies old cage, he passed away a month ago, but it was kinda dirty in there. so I put her in a gallon pitcher with a lid on it and we decided what to do with her.
I was on the fence, she survived the trap so she was living, PERIOD. She is a cute little thing but we decided to let her go. Erin and I took her down to East La Loma Park and let her go next to Dry Creek. Ms. Rat FLEW out of the pitcher over a small cliff and in to the brush not to EVER look back. We both hope she is ok and enjoying her second lease on life.

If we had kept her I think I would have named her Gwen. She just looked like a Gwen.
Anyways I am off to take the Beautiful Mrs. Kensler to work and then do some chores...Plus play some Fallout 3 before I have No time again.

Life
Well, I am now an aunt. My brother and sister-in-law had there baby on the 18th of October. His name is William and his is a beautiful baby. Caleb and I get to see him in December when they come for Christmas. That will be nice to see them all.
As for work, I am now done with training completely. Have been for a couple weeks now. I got my work shirts on Friday, so I will actually look like I work there. As for Caleb we are still waiting to hear from the bakery or any other places that are hiring right now. He hates now working, but my job came just in time. God knew what was going to happen and what we needed, and the job at Valley First was the perfect thing for us right now. Now we just have to be patient and wait for God to provide a job for Caleb. All in good time.
How I'm looking at it right now is this give Caleb and my Dad some free time to work on the fence before it starts to rain.
Any how, speaking of which, my parents are coming over today so they can work on the fence while my mom and I make lasagna for dinner tonight.
Talk to you all later.

everying
So lately, a lot of things have been going on. I finished my first week of actual work with out a trainer. It went pretty well, but I was short one day. Not good. But everyone makes mistakes. On Friday night, Caleb and I went to Redding with his parents to bring down the Mercury Cougar he inherited from his grandfather. He got his license on Wednesday. YAY! That is out of the way. He is so happy too. He finally feels comfortable driving, and can't figure out why he waited so long. Loki is doing good, and things are moving along. Now all we are waiting for is Caleb to either hear that the bakery got some more contracts and can start production again, or get a call back from some where else. But any how, just wanted to update everyone.

Second week of training
Well, my second week of training is now over, and I have one remaining. This time, it was completely different than the week before. Helping people is at times hard because they give you like 5 different things they want to do to their account and other accounts and that is when I start freaking out. But I was getting better. I did mess up on Thursday though, which bothered me. But I think Friday went better. Next week is advanced teller training. That is going to suck. Or at least I have that feeling. I hope not though. But any how, gotta go, just wanted you to know how last week went.

The new Job
So I made it through my first week of training at Valley First. Two more weeks left. There is so much information to take in, its crazy, but I do think I will really like working there. Just have to stay calm and realize that I will probably make a few mistakes. But everyone is so nice and friendly. That's really cool, because often times people really don't care who you are or how you feeling, but here they are all so nice and friendly. The only thing that I am worried about is when I get pregnant. I will probably have to quit and try back in like five years, or ask to be put as on call or very minimum part time. But I will worry about that when that time comes. For now I am going to enjoy having a job and do my best to succeed at it. Next week I will actually be out on the floor, helping people...SCARY...that is going to freak me out...lol
But any how, I better go. I will write more about how my first week went...

We got a puppy!
Yep, Caleb and I ended up getting a puppy. It was more of an accident than anything. See, Caleb got bit by a spider or something a week or so ago, and he finally went to urgent care on Friday night because the bit was infected and he needed it to be checked out. So the doctor proscribed some antibiotics and because Wal-Mart has them for so cheap we decided to get them there the next day on Saturday. As we were leaving, one of the workers was trying to help a lady sell the puppy's. So as we were leaving she asked if we wanted a puppy as we were walking to the car. Caleb said no, but I said, well lets go look at it. So we decided to get him because he was so darned cute. Plus he was only twenty dollars which was good because most dogs in pet stores and stuff are in the hundreds and close to a thousand. I have been wanting a dog for a while, and I had been hoping to get a pug. But this just seemed to work out perfectly. Plus, Caleb doesn't really like pugs all that much. So we brought him home, I got the number of the lady selling them and got the vaccination papers from her. The puppy's name is Loki. Caleb came up with it. It the Norse god of mischief. We just hope he doesn't live up to his name. He is a chiuaua and Jack Russel mix. He is so cute and he's pretty smart for only being 9 weeks old, and he hasn't had an accident in the house yet, and hopefully never will (knocks on wood). We have him signed up for puppy training classes at Petsmart. And he goes in for his next set of shots on the 25th.
More good news, I got a new job at Valley First Credit Union. I start training on Monday. I am very excited and nervous. I hope I do well at this job.
So as you can see lots has happened since I last wrote. Caleb getting bit by a spider, getting a puppy, and me getting a new job.
But anyhow, I need to go to bed, Caleb's birthday is tomorrow.
Here are some pictures of the new puppy. Enjoy

This is Loki, isn't he cute??

So...
So we went to the Cotati festival, but didn't really take any pictures. The reason well, I wasn't feeling that good because I was still sick, and it was cold there. Not to mention I had only gotten two hours of sleep the night before. For some reason, I just couldn't go to sleep. Caleb drove most of the way up there and half of the way back home. So that helped. There were a few good bands there though. The headliner was a Russian band. They were really good. But it was nice to get out of Modesto for a day. Also, I know Caleb really enjoyed the Polish sausages. He looks forward to them every year. I think tomorrow we may go to Columbia . If we do that will be fun, neither of us have been in a long long time. Caleb got three days off in a row this week. So we were wanting to go out of town, but well, we need to save the moneys. Hopefully he will get a couple days off when we have the money to spare in the future. But anyhow, I better go and if we do go to Columbia, hopefully we will take some pictures, and I will post them.
Until next time,

Being sick Sucks!
Well, Caleb was the one to get sick first. And it didn't take long for me to catch up. On Tuesday, he was sent home because his boss could see he wasn't feeling good at all. In fact I think like three or four people there said he "looked like shit." So yea, he was sent home. He stayed in bed that whole day, and then just took it kind of easy on Wednesday which he had off. This morning he woke up feeling really good. He could breath fine and wasn't coughing and wasn't that congested. So that is good news. He was able to go back to work which is always good. As for me, my nose is always running, which causes me to cough a little, and I have a headache. But hopefully I will follow in Caleb's footsteps and feel better tomorrow. We plan on going to the Cotati festival this Saturday which will be fun and nice to get out of town for a day. I just hope I feel a little better by then. Hopefully we will take some pictures and post them for you all to see.
Until then,we will talk to you later.

Well things are pretty much the same. I am still looking for a job, and Caleb is still working at the bakery. We plan on going to the Cotati Accordion Festival this month. That will be fun. But yea, just wanted to write a little something so people still know were alive :)
Any how, its late and I super tired, so I'm going to go to bed. Hopefully something exciting will happen that will give me something to write about.
But until that happens, I don't really know what to write about at the moment.

Making Dinner...
Wow!...
From our bridal shower and wedding, we received two crock pots. So yesterday Caleb said he wanted beef stew. So I went to the grocery store today to get all the things I needed because I bought this cool cook book in Fort Bragg on our honeymoon. It has a whole bunch of recipes you can do in a slow cooker. So I bought some beef strips for the stew. In the directions, I am supposed to cube the meat.....Other than lunch meant and the occasional hot dog link, this is the first time I have touched and fully handled meat in over 8 years...I am completely grossed out. It was so slimy and gooey, and it smelled like blood...duh and something else I can't figure out, YUCK! When I was at the store, I asked the lady who worked there which meat I should use because like I would know, and she suggested meat that had a chunk of bone in it because it gives the stew a better flavor. Well in the process of cutting it up, what ever it is that keeps the meat connected to the bone is really strong and thin and Really slimy and disgusting. Touching the bone was nauseating too. The whole time I was cutting this up, all I could think about is that poor cow. I figured when I get pregnant, I would eat meat because its healthier for the baby, but after doing that, I really don't know if I can bring myself to doing it now... But any how, all the same I hope the stew turns out well. I also hope Caleb never doubts my love for him, because after doing that, I really don't know how I could prove my love for him any better.
Well talk to you all later.

Well, last night kinda sucked...A LOT
Well, at our house Caleb and I had a 4th of July party with around 8 to 10 other people here. Everything was going well, Caleb was BBQ-ing, and I got everything else ready...Well Caleb had way to much to drink, and well things went bad. So instead of us all enjoying fireworks when it got dark, we all had to worry about Caleb either burning himself or others, poking Paulo in the eyes, Paulo punching Caleb for poking him in they eyes, Caleb getting angry that we weren't lighting the big fireworks, Caleb walking away angry, everyone convincing him to go back in side, him getting mad again that we were trying to get him back inside so he wouldn't make an ass out of himself in front of the neighbors and then after we got him inside, worring that he was going to pee in the den, vomit on the carpet or fall on his way to the bathroom. We finally got him into the bathroom, I made him sit down so he wouldn't fall, and after about a half hour of sitting in there, he started to vomit...a lot. Paulo took over for me because I can't handle seeing someone vomitting, and not to mention that Caleb tore his toenail when he fell on the grass outside. I had to go, or else I would vomit also, and that wouldnt be good. So we left him on the toilet after the vomitting stopped, he fell asleep, and about an hour or two later, he made his way to the bed and was out for the rest of the night... Then when he woke up, I informed him of how big of and ass he made of himself the night before, and then the hangover started...Then once we got up, he called everyone who was here last night, and appologized for his behavior and basically ruinning the night. He is completly embarrassed, and ashamed of himself and hopefully he learns a BIG lesson from all of this...
Well I better go and take care of my hungover husband... talk to you all later

So tired
Caleb is playing Rockband, while I sit here with a headache and tired...lol
He bought me Wii-fit for my birthday, and I tried it out tonight. Its actually really fun. There are four different sections. Yoga, strength training, aerobics, and balance. The yoga and strength training sections are not as fun as the others. They have "trainers" while the other sections are done by your "mii" They just seem more fun and not so much like you have to be perfect at it. And it actually is a good work out. There is running and coordination and weird goals you try to achieve. I think this will be a good thing for me. It keeps track of your progress and lets you set goals and all of that. It cool. But I don't recommend doing it for an hour when you never exercise and have had a long and busy day...I am pooped. But yea, on other news...to my brother and sister-in-law...I made an awesome dinner tonight. I still think its funny you were surprised to see me cooking. I really wonder why everyone thinks I never cook.
Also on other news, I went to lunch with my mom today...well I guess it's now technically yesterday... and we went into Gottschalks. Now, I still have my employee discount, so I found a pair of jeans for Caleb that he really likes and they were I think 40% off...now my normal employee discount is 25%, but apparently yesterday and the day before was 50% off for employees, so when I found that out, I couldn't resist and had to go buy more stuff...its not very often do you get 50% off plus the additional sales everyone gets. So yea, that was cool. Long story short I'm glad I went in there today...lmao
Other news, the 30th was Shanni's 21st birthday. We all went to the Firkin and Fox. Its this awesome pub downtown. I think its funny that I got more buzzed (Caleb thinks I was drunk, but I really wasn't) than My 21st birthday. But it was fun to get with everyone and hang out. It was fun, I enjoyed it very much so.
Well I think its probably time to go to bed. I'm sure you can all tell I'm super tired by the randomness of this blog...I never ramble on about my day and the pointless highlights in it for no reason.
Any how, night all...
Erin
*** EDIT ***
She was drunk and DID HAVE A HANG OVER!
a headache that lasts all day after a night of drinking is infact.... A HANGOVER.
Plus the drinks she had last night where actual honest to god cocktails not watered down piss poor keep you gambling drinks like in Tahoe.
oop shes nodding bad now i gotta go. it was fun to set the record straight.
time to put my hung over wife to bed.

work is a killer
Since Erin and I have come back to town from the honeymoon I have been working at the minimum 10 hour shifts at the bakery. It seems that when I left for the "fun week" everything went to hell. My replacement messed up about 4 orders and even let the machine operator run Hot dog buns in Hamburger bags. and not just a few but about 1200 units. even worse for Danny, my lackluster replacement, he no call no showed. when I got back to work he was there for 2 days then no showed again.... Danny is gone now. it has been VERY crazy the last 4 days with new guys everywhere, people quitting or walking out in the middle of a shift and machines breaking down every 30 minutes.
On the bright side i have only messed up once in the last 4 days and it was a honest mistake. Damned breakable carts...........
ANYWAYS because of work and the craziness of everything I have spaced on the Honeymoon Pictures. I am sorry all, they will be on here in a week. Promise. If you want to see Wedding Pictures they are up on my Flickr Account.
Here is the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/c_man/
WORSE YET I have not even given these guys descriptions yet......
It is in the works I swear.
alas I need to get going now, work comes early tomorrow and will most likely be a long one.
God Bless,
Caleb

Back in Modesto
Well Caleb and I returned home yesterday. It kinda sucks being back in the hot valley when we were in nice 70-80 degree weather, but we had to come back to reality some time right? The honeymoon was awesome and everything went well. There were no mess ups with rooms or fighting or anything like that. Everyone says your first major fight will be on your honeymoon, but that wasn't the case for us...Awesome! There was really only one thing that sucked in each place. In Santa Cruz, while we were camping, there were mosquitoes oh and the massive sun burn i got on the Board Walk, but that was my fault for not putting on sunscreen...At the bed and breakfast was the lighting that struck right out side our window and scared the crap out of me, and in Tahoe was when we arrived, there was something going on called "The Opening of the Lake" or something like that, with like a car show and all kinds of things. There was an estimated of like 20,000-30,000 people there...If you have ever been to South Lake Tahoe, you know its not that big of a town. So when we arrived to Tahoe, about three or four blocks from the Y, traffic was backed up all the way to state line, which is a couple miles at least, and of course our first hotel was on the Nevada side...so we were stuck in traffic for like and hour before I could get to the street I could take for the back way. Caleb was bored and started to play fallout on the laptop while we where stuck in traffic. But other than that, we had an amazing time, and we took tons of pictures. Not so much of Lake Tahoe, but that's because we have been there before, and nothing was really all that new for us.... and you dont need to see the two of us drinking cocktails at the lakeside inn either.

Holy Crap, We Got a Blog!
Hey, everyone! This is the happy couple posting on our new blog. Caleb thought up the title...
Right now we are sitting on the bed in our room at the Bed and Breakfast we are staying at for one more night. This place is really nice. Beautiful rooms, awesome location off of CA-1 just a few miles north of Fort Bragg Ca. and FREE WIFI!!!
The owners are TOTAL hippies with the sun dresses and crazy Jerry Garcia hair with, Of course, a Toyota Prius.
The lodge/inn is separated in to 3 parts, the farmhouse, The Townhouse and a freaking cabin just 600 feet from the ocean PLUS for Erins Delight there is a herd of Sheep and a loan black Llama on the top of the hill. The garden here is Beautiful.
Oh I totally got off of subject so yea Get used to it because if i am typing I usually go off on random tangents. Erin is the more direct blogger between the both of use.
We plan on blogging on the wedding, our honeymoon, all of the new things in our life and what ever else comes to mind PLUS PICTURES!!!! ... Not those kind of pictures though. pervert.
so STAY TUNED!!!!!!!
the "!" key is probbably going to be worn out by blog #3 along with the "shift" key.... Oh well time to get a mac hehe.
Anyways good night all and God Bless.
Love,
The Kenslers.
